OVERVIEW
Hauton Tops, also known as Lehaute, is a predominantly mountainous region in Southern Wesland which borders the electorate of Wesland. It hosts the third largest city in Ainslie, Hauton and the region averages at 1000m above sea level. The region's main distinctive feature is Mount Arling, placed at 2000m above sea level. The region corresponds with The region corresponds to the TWI Weather Office forecast area of the same name.
HISTORY
Hauton was mainly inhabited during the times of the Arnish Empire, where traders from traditional Rensi land interacted with the Rathai. This settlement was used as a stopover for those activities, as well as military exercises in the local mountains

It is the electoral capital of Wesland, and is Ainslie's second largest commercial hub, mainly due to the business it has with Arnton. Hauton is traditionally known as the Capital of Creativity in Ainslie, and the city hosts many business headquarters and has a healthy startup culture. Unlike other cities, it is very common to see people busking on the streets, people in clubs well after midnight and people just stopping in the middle of the street to look at something interesting. Hauton has a vibrant culture despite its climatic conditions.
